With Pocket DHI-Plus you can load DHI-Plus cow records on to your Pocket PC handheld to provide easy access to cow records. The Pocket DHI-Plus software works in tandem with the DHI-Plus desktop software to easily sync cow data and custom reports to a Pocket PC.
Use Pocket DHI-Plus to during vet check to instantly know why the cow is to be checked and quickly record the results. Record breeding dates, string changes and health data quickly.
Use with RFID and begin to realize the cost and time savings. Easily scan and inventory animals. A log of inventory date and time is synced and stored back in DHI-Plus to track every animal scanned via RFID. Use the automated macro functionality to record shots and vaccinations. Use of 840 or 982 type of RFID tags can be used with the Pocket DHI-Plus RFID system. 840 RFID tags require a Premise ID. For more information on obtaining a premise ID visit the NAIS (National Animal Identification System) web site at animalid.aphis.usda.gov/nais.
Both HDX (Half Duplex) and FDX (Full Duplex) RFID tags can be used with the Pocket DHI-Plus RFID system.
